About the Role:

Responsibilities



* Lead the process design with the contribution to producing deliverables and undertaking activities. The work will be based on a schedule and will require understanding, control and reporting of quality and expenditure

* Preparation of process deliverables for the assigned projects like user requirements, block and process flow diagrams, function descriptions, equipment lists and specifications, process layout, material and personnel flow as well as procurement and commissioning & qualification support. Drafting is done by Designers, so part of the role is to manage the input, transfer and checking processes

* Producing deliverables and executing activities according to standards, specifications and procedures

* Management of assigned projects

* Support of sales activities with presentations

* Support the preparation of quotes with estimating of the man-hours for the process deliverables as well as technical write ups of the execution strategy

* Attend, contribute and prepare reports for process design related safety reviews

* Contribution to the identification and control of change

* Strong sense of health, security, safety and environmental aspects within the working environment and in the design process, and willingness to contribute to maintain the highest of standard

* Line management of assigned personnel

* Contribute and participate to work in an enthusiastic manner, working to the requirements of quality and environmental management systems

Qualifications



* Degree in Chemical Engineering

* Fluency in German and English in writing and word is a must. French or any other language an asset

* Minimum of 15 years process engineering execution experience in the pharmaceuticals industry

* Self-motivated, proactive individual with good communication skills

* Ability to communicate effectively with multinational teams

* Ability to communicate proactively with representatives of other disciplines in the co-ordination with their work

* Ability to communicate effectively with both Client / Owner

* Ability to convert the technical knowledge into practical solutions
