About the Role:

Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HR Business Partner, based in Aberdeen

Responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with the HR team to provide a professional, efficient, effective and timely service to the business.
Providing direct communication with Leaders and Employees ensuring that the business is well informed. Undertakes presentations and training sessions for roll out to workforce both on and offshore as required.
Providing support, advice with policies, processes and tools in a timely manner to business stakeholders on all employee relations issues whilst ensuring that accurate records are maintained at all times.
A key member of the internal Emergency Response Project team.
Supporting line managers with Employee Relations activities, ie: grievances, disciplinaries, investigations.
Supporting and promoting company policies and processes ensuring that they are fit for purpose through regular reviews with other members of the HR Team. Ensuring that these are appropriate for the business.
Meet regularly with Department/Site Managers to implement Strategic Workforce Planning and develop Work Plan & Budgets with regards to staffing and contractor levels.
Working with the HR Team to promote effective planning of workload, initiatives and training.
Working with Managers to support the annual review process and the production of individual development plans.
Contribute and provide support for all initiatives, projects and the annual HR cycle of calendar events through forward planning, coaching and administration as required. This includes performance management, salary & LTI reviews and working with the Managers and HR Team to administer the annual budget process.
Liaising with Managers and the recruitment team in the delivery of a prompt and effective service, which delivers competent personnel in a timely manner. Attending Assessment Centres where appropriate and undertake interviews as required. Liaising with Managers and the recruitment team on contractor changes/actions, ensuring accurate collation and documentation of information.
Responsible for the quality and accuracy of the details contained in the HR system and the facilitation and administration of employee changes, promotions etc. for the business area.
Providing accurate reporting to Managers when required and helping coordinate research and analysis as required.
Managing absence and sickness within business area, responsible for the effective communication with employees, health and insurance providers. Managing all maternity/paternity personnel within the business area and the associated administration/communication process.
A member of the Medivac rota process/meetings and training.
Undertaking the coordinator of letters and other confidential information with the assistance of the HR Assistant, ensuring consistency of correspondence.
Liaising with Managers on a monthly basis for cost code and headcount reviews and administer relevant systems and documentation.
Liaising and co-ordinating with members of the HR Team across locations to ensure effective communication and consistency of process.
Ability to undertake regular offshore visits and trips as and when required.
Performing other duties as and when required and completes additional tasks and supports ad hoc projects as required

Bachelor's degree or appropriate relevant practical experience
CIPD or equivalent qualifications would be preferred
Current Offshore Medical, BOSIET and MIST Training

In-depth understanding of the HR function, having previously worked in a business partnering role.
Experience in oil and gas industry with offshore operations experience required.
Knowledge and understanding of the North Sea Operations and employment market.
Understanding and experience of organisation design and related HR activities.
Competence in in-house emergency response operations and roles.
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize in a busy and complex environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Knowledge of Workday or similar HR systems would be an advantage.
Strong sense of service delivery
Experience and use of tools to necessitate and support change initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Familiar with all offshore certification, disciplines and rotations.
Proven ability to work as part of a fast paced team.
