About the Role:

Amec Foster Wheeler is currently recruiting for a Lead Project Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. The Lead Project Engineer typically operates as a Project manager on one or multiple projects and is responsible, in this context, for all activities, internal and external, on the project. In this capacity, the Lead Project Engineer is responsible for the overall success of the Project Design or Project Implementation activities in line with the Projects goals and in accordance with the Projects Functional procedures and applicable standards.


* The jobholder will contribute to the implementation of the assigned project
* The jobholder is a key member of a team that will work together during project execution, handling all aspects of the Project with special emphasis on their respective areas of specialization
* The jobholder also has primary responsibility to maintain strong relationships within Client, contractors/vendors and stay abreast with 'best practice' regionally and internationally
* Possess a broad experience of the major design engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, instrument & control, civil and process)
* Significant experience of project development, project planning, project management and project contracting
* Significant experience of project development and/or project management software (i.e. Autocad, MS Project, Oracle Primavera)

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant Engineering discipline
* Must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in Engineering of Thermal Power Plant Simple & Combined Cycle, including Gas Turbine Generators (GTG) or Steam Turbines or HRSG Boilers in the Design / Design review & Construction supervision
* Skilled in the use of Project Management Softwares (i.e., MS Projects, Primavera)
* Demonstrate capability of making optimal use of the software to achieve assignment requirements
* Must have extensive knowledge of engineering principles
* Skilled in estimating project resource requirements (manpower, materials, financial)
