Role: Equipment Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) - Diesel Generators - UK Nucelar New Build
Location: Bristol, close to M4/M5 junction
Salary: £25-42k + excellent benefits (salary dependant on experience)
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and ambitious Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with Contracts Management / Project Management experience to work as Equipment Engineer - Diesel Generators for our prestigious client in helping to design the next fleet of nuclear power stations in the UK.
This role would ideally suit a candidate with 5-10 years experience looking to further develop their career, though more experienced candidates will happily be considered.
This is an office based role based at the client's head office 2 minutes drive off of the M4 / M5 junction in Bristol.
The Equipment Technical Lead Engineer is in charge of the technical aspects of the contract related to Ultimate Diesel Generators of the UK EPR
Diesel equipment / Diesel Generators experience and / or any previous experience of work in the nuclear industry would be an advantage, though is not essential to being considered for the role.
The Equyipment Engineer will occupy a technical lead position, though will not be involved with detail design.
The role will instead provide surviellance over the design being produced, confirming that they are acceptable before being passed to the Systems Engineers.
The role will also involve supplier engagement, assessing tender returns from potential suppliers.
