•Identifying and communicating the project objectives and execution strategy to the project team.
•Organizing the project team in consultation with department managers and the execution Program team and agreeing the assignment of key project personnel.
•Providing hand-on, detailed direction and leadership to the project team, motivating the team towards achieving specified project objectives.
•Achieving scheduled performance, cost, quality and HSE requirements in accordance with contractual requirements.
•Acting as the primary contact with the client and maintain excellent client relations.
•Negotiating all contract changes with the client.
•Preparing and issuing the project execution plan, project procedures, project quality plan and other key project documentation
•Managing the activities of all disciplines involved with the project.
•Maintaining the progress of the work under continual review in accordance with project budget, schedule, quality and HSE objectives.
•Being the principal problem solver in pursuit of project objectives, taking timely and effective corrective actions as necessary.
•Providing regular progress reports to client and Jacobs senior management including formal presentations as required.
•Reviewing and approving of project deliverables prior to issue.
•Acting as a contact between Jacobs and client's engineering representative. •Ensuring the timely issue to the client of correct invoices and the expediting of payment in accordance with the contract.
Should have minimum of 15 years of direct work experience in a project management capacity in the design and construction of onshore natural gas and liquids pipelines and related facilities, including scraping facilities, filtering, measurement and catholic protection. Project management experience will include FEED / Conceptual design, through to detailed engineering, overseeing procurement stages and managing contractors during constriuction.
BSc Engineering degree, preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Excellent spoken and written English
Experience at the construction stage of projects.
