About the Role:

Perform maintenance tasks, installations, routine inspections, trouble shooting and repairs, both scheduled and unscheduled, to equipment, machinery, piping and components in and around the facility in order to achieve company performance measures.

  • Work closely with Maintenance Supervisor to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and company policies.
  • Complete, on-time, delivery of maintenance services to ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, quality, safety, efficiency and equipment reliability are achieved.

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery and components as scheduled.

  • Assist with mechanical installations, repairs and replacements as needed.

  • Maintain favorable working relationship with peers in order to support positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement.

  • Strong understanding of maintenance and/or the mechanical contracting trade.
  • Must be familiar with combustion turbines, HRSG's and high pressure gas compression.

  • Have a good understanding of related equipment and processes.

  • Professional attitude and presentation while representing the company
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent

  • A minimum of four (4) or more years of related experience or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.

  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and tolerate heights up to 75 feet.

  • Must be able to enter confined spaces.

  • Ability to lift 65 pounds.

  • Act with integrity

  • Must be trust worthy

  • Work overtime when necessary

  • Perform other duties as assigned .
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • Possess good interpersonal skills

  • Possess written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers

  • Complete all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Manage time wisely and work effectively with a minimum level of supervision.

  • Ability to define and solve difficult problems with a variety of variables by collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Be results oriented and a team player
