Jacobs Federal Operations provides a wide range of services to government and industry in engineering, environmental, operations and maintenance, scientific, engineering, environmental and technical services. Our clients include USAF, USACE, DOE, USCG, NASA, Dow, TVA, and Denso. We are currently executing many contracts, performing work that is essential to our clients' missions across a broad range of functional areas.
Primary focus will be to provide support to environmental investigation and remediation projects including all phases of planning, water and soil sampling, data analysis, work plan and reporting writing, and subcontractor oversight and management. Functions as a technical specialist formulating and developing advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Develops solutions to problems or unusual complexity that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity. Work performed under management's direction toward long-range goals and objectives. May have significant client interaction.
The successful candidate will be capable of working effectively in both the office and the field. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, self-starter, who is organized and able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Attention to detail and work effectively with internal and external clients.
- BS or MS in scientific discipline required
- 15-20 years of experienced required
- Computer literacy in software typical of discipline is preferred
- 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification desirable, but not required
