Jacobs Technology is looking for a highly-motivated, energetic self-starter to join the AOC Fielding Team at Langley AFB as a C2 Systems Administrator on the AOC Sustainment Services contract. This is a contract that provides a broad range of engineering support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's (AFLCMC'S) Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System program located at Hanscom AFB and their geographically separated unit at Langley AFB. The candidate will provide installation, post configuration, and data load of Command and Control (C2) systems including TBMCS, JADOCS, MAAPTK, and GCCS. Additionally, the candidate will install, configure, and manage UNIX and Windows infrastructure servers such as Active Directory, Exchange, MS SQL, VMware, and CITRIX at domestic and overseas AOC Fielding locations and Test/Integration labs for Recurring Event (RE) content releases. The candidate must be highly technical, have experience troubleshooting in a complex IT environment and comfortable working with disparate systems and servers
Administration of computer and communications systems including system startup and shutdown, security and application patch installation, security scanning and remediation, user account, profile and permission management, system backups and restoration, system service and log management, system auditing, problem report management, help desk management, performance management, troubleshooting and repair of C2 systems and Infrastructure servers, and other IT administration related services as directed by the RE content.
COMP TIA Security + certification is required
Knowledge and experience with Windows and UNIX operating systems
VMware infrastructure, and CITRIX server farms is highly desired.
Microsoft client OS support; account management; network configuration management experience.
AOC C2 Systems Administration experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge on how the AOC systems are utilized and operated is a plus
Typically requires an Associate degree in a computer field and eight (8) years of related experience. Progressive and relevant education, training and/or certification(s) may be substituted for a portion of the degree and experience requirements.
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current Secret clearance.
This position may require travel of 25-50%.
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Work may involve sitting for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Must have sufficient mobility to enter areas of manufacturing and military sites or facilities where necessary.

Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
