Commercial Intern - Summer 2017
Business Unit Overview
Join our Constellation team and become part of Exelon's competitive retail and wholesale energy business. Constellation is headquartered in Baltimore, with regional offices in Chicago, Houston, Kennett Square, Louisville, New York, and De Pere.
We develop energy management strategies that help customers buy, manage and consume energy. Our retail unit is among the largest and most comprehensive in the industry with approximately 1 million residential customers that rely on our commitment to innovation, dependability, transparency, and service. Our wholesale business serves utilities, municipalities and co-ops and features world-class risk management and energy trading capabilities.
We are now accepting applications for our 2017 Summer Internships that will be in the following cities:
- Baltimore, MD
- Houston, TX
- Chicago, IL
- Louisville, KY
- De Pere, WI
This will be a ten (10) week paid intern program and you will be assigned to one of our commercial teams within Constellation. The internship provides opportunities for students to gain experience in the "real world" work environment. Work or project assignments will be aligned with the student's academic background to take advantage of their expertise and provide real life application of their classroom knowledge. At the same time, opportunities will be provided for students to expand their knowledge outside the boundaries of their classroom experiences. In addition, you will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and participate community services projects.

Risk - (Baltimore & Chicago)
The mission of Credit Risk Management is to protect Exelon's balance sheet through best in-class risk mitigation techniques. We work to ensure Exelon's commercial partners meet their contractual obligations from a credit perspective, providing our businesses with exceptional end-to end
We are seeking students who meet the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Master's program
- Minimum GPA: Cumulative 3.0/Major 3.0
- A track record of outstanding academic performance
- Eager to contribute in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Bachelors and Masters Degrees in the following disciplines:
- Computer Science
- Financial Mathematics
