You will be part of High Voltage Products in Ludvika. We have a worldwide ABB responsibility for development, production and sales of high voltage instrument transformers for power systems within both AC and DC. New products are developed and tested in our high voltage laboratory and the market we serve is global. The high voltage instrument transformers are an essential part in a reliable and energy efficient power system.
On the Sales unit for high voltage products, we work with sales of instrument transformers, for example current and voltage transformers sales, products and services. Our success formula is based upon customer focus and product care and as our new Area Manager; you will ensure that defined sales targets within your region are achieved. This will primarily be accomplished by making quotations for our services and products, as well as by marketing them, for example through customer meetings, exhibitions and seminars.
In this position you should be interested to travel as well as focus on networking and customer relations. As you look after the market and meet our customers on a regular basis, it will be natural for you to provide the workshop with feedback. It is an important step to success, both for your personal development and for our continuous growth. As we are updating our portfolio a strong focus on marketing is needed as well as close teamwork with other sales departments, global and local.
To be suitable for this position, you should have a technical high school diploma or a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Sales experience as well as knowledge about HV Products, i e instrument transformers, arresters or breakers, products and services, is considered qualifying.
It is crucial that you have excellent skills in English, since you will be working internationally. Additional language skills, such as French, Spanish or Russian, are looked upon positively you are used to working with computers and enjoy collaboration. You also have high social skills and a strong inner drive. Your creative mind helps you to find new business opportunities, while you simultaneously are well organized and structured in your way of working.
