As an Electrical Designer with us, you will join an inspiring team that works with completion of the world's largest power transmission links. It is a diverse and independent job, within our project groups, with lots of responsibility and you will have great opportunities to develop your skills within HVDC.
Our department is responsible for the Hardware Integration and Plant Design during upgrades of our old HVDC plants. This includes design, documentation, supervising installation and commissioning of the control and protection systems, as well as auxiliary power systems and auxiliary systems (i.e. fire systems, interlocking systems, etc.). Also mechanical design could be a part of our delivery and included within our responsibility. Supporting and supervising on-site installation and commissioning around the world is an important part of our business offering.
The design tools used are Engineering Base, our own developed HiDraw and applicable mechanical design tools, together with different Office programs and documentation systems.
The work will entail, among other things, design of assembly and installation documentation including cabling for upgrades of existing projects.
You are an electrical designer with work experience within the area and/or educated as an electrical engineer. It is also possible that you are an experienced electrician, who has worked with electrical installations at power plants, substations or similar.
We are also looking for individuals with experience from working with auxiliary power systems and/or auxiliary systems. Education or experience from mechanical design is also an advantage, but not required. It is also positive if you have worked with control systems, PLC programming, etc. and/or testing of such systems.
