About the Role:

NextEra Energy Resources is a competitive energy supplier utilizing clean fuels to generate electricity. It is a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, Inc. Position Description:

NextEra Energy Resources develops, builds and operates electricity-generating facilities fueled by wind, nuclear, solar, hydroelectric power, natural gas, and oil. The total portfolio has 18,800 megawatts of generating capacity from more than 100 facilities operating in 26 states and Canada. Its subsidiary, NextEra Energy Partners, LP is a growth-oriented limited partnership formed by NextEra Energy, Inc. to own, operate, and acquire contracted clean energy projects. Great opportunity to join a critical business unit within a growing, clean energy company that currently owns close to 2,000 MW in both the U.S. and Canada.

Position directly supports management with the overall P&L management of NextEra Energy Partners, LP, both from an actual results and forecast perspective. Majority of time is spent reviewing the generating assets P&L, completing variance analysis, generating monthly forecasts, operational assessments, ad hoc projects/report development/modeling, and other misc projects. In addition to these primary responsibilities, position also participates in general strategic activities such as evaluation of acquisition opportunities, portfolio optimization analysis, setting of distribution policy, assisting in financing activities, and contributing to investor relations presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field required.

MBA or MS degrees and/or CPA or CFA are highly preferred.

5 years relevant professional experience required.

Expert level or better in Excel and PowerPoint
