Executes the sourcing process for assigned business areas and implements policies and programs directed towards providing contracted services and materials. Prepares sourcing agreements containing limited changes to FPL's standard terms and conditions. No supervisory or budgetary responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Recommend and communicate sourcing strategy, progress and results to supervision and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) management; develop new sources of supply and monitor ongoing supplier performance Develop and maintain relationships with business units and suppliers; conduct industry analysis and evaluate supplier performance. Effective oral and written communications with various stakeholders including employees, management, and external vendors. Conduct business dealings with the highest level of integrity and regard for corporate guidelines, legal and environmental regulations. Lead and/or participate on sourcing project teams; execute the sourcing process for assigned areas. Analyze responses to simple bid requests including the ability to distill commercial differences and bring forward succinct recommendations for assistance in selecting the appropriate supplier for contract award. Participate in sourcing data analysis, forecasting and planning. Conduct non-complex negotiations successfully. Provide market data to support supplier selection, qualification and on-going performance management. Effectively manage total cost of ownership with continuous improvement efforts to drive down costs and external spend

- Bachelor's degree in finance strongly preferred
- (2-3) years experience in supply chain strongly preferred
- Excel Analytics is strongly preferred
- SAP experience preferred
High School Grad / GED:Required;Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Work Exp:Required;
