Manage day to day safety and environmental requirements for two 80MW solar thermal facilities. Work on establishing procedures and preparing reports for submittal to regulatory agencies. Data collection, management and analysis for Environmental, and Safety Programs as well as ensuring consistency in data collection processes are required for this position. Interfacing with Federal, State, and Local Agencies on environmental permit compliance and regulatory inspections are required for this position. Reports include air, water, biological, and hazardous waste programs. Position requires a self-directed, self-starting individual capable of becoming an Environmental and Safety subject matter expert that can direct others in all aspects of the environmental and safety fields. Position will function as the back up to the Environmental Specialist overseeing safety and environmental for seven solar thermal facilities as well as several photovoltaic facilities. Job may include other misc. duties as assigned. Occasional overtime, weekend, and night work may be required.
High School/GED or 2-5 years relevant duties experience and relevant supervisory experience required, if applicable.
