We are currently seeking a Lead Distribution Engineer in Orlando, FL for project management and electric utility design engineering.

Work would include electric utility distribution design work package development including, but not limited to overhead, URD, and underground cable/conduit design work packages.
Preferred experience would include assessment and development of design bid packages for complex cable/conduit projects in dense urban environments in compliance with client's engineering and construction specifications, field engineering of project requirements, coordination of conflicting utilities, work permit development, design of mainline and vault medium voltage switchgear, network system design, and distribution system protection and coordination requirements.

The candidate must possess Project Management skills as it pertains to definition of Scope, Schedule, Risk Analysis, Managing Risks, Team Leadership and Reporting. Candidate must comply with quality control and safe work practices and maintain compliance with project scope, schedule and budget.

This position will be a member of a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and CAD technicians and will work as the functional work leader for the team.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college in an Engineering field required.

8-12 years relevant experience in engineering, project management, customer interface and energy, power, and/or utilities.

U.S. Citizenship contractually required.

Computer literacy required.

Good written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills required.

PE license preferred.
