Deliver training courses that comply with applicable regulatory requirements to train plant and other employees in specialties such as Engineering, Health Physics, Chemistry, Maintenance (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Control, etc.) or other disciplines/areas as assigned. Participate in the design and development of discipline specific training in accordance with the applicable regulatory requirements. Develop, maintain, improve and deliver training courses, supporting materials and evaluations using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT). Revise instructional materials to reflect changes in plant design, current plant practices, regulations, and/or operating philosophies. May provide direction to less experienced instructors and function as program lead maintaining all elements of the applicable training program as required by the associated procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards, NRC regulations and INPO accreditation criteria and other codes, standards and applicable regulatory requirements, where applicable. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Math, Physical Sciences specialty, Engineering) or equivalent education and/or experience; High School Graduate/GED required in absence of degree.
- Eight (8 ) or more years of related industry experience required OR eight (8 ) or more years of nuclear training is required.
