Responsible for complex plant engineering tasks which require plant engineering experience and application of engineering principles. Work independently with general guidance for complex tasks and independently for routine daily tasks. Responsible as system owner / manager to optimize and maintain short term and long range system & equipment reliability strategies and for the planning, coordination and implementation phases of engineering tasks. Ability to apply nuclear regulations and standards to work assignments. Communicates effectively with interfacing departments and the station management team. Experience with emergency diesel generator operation and maintenance strategies is preferred.
- Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering is required.
- Five (5 ) or more years of engineering or related experience is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred. PE may substitute for BS degree.
- Nuclear industry experience is preferred.
