The primary duty location of this position is Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Scheduler (Maintenance) Job Description:
Coordinates scheduling of material, work, or information services to support timely dissemination; may implement requisition processes as required. Develops and maintains suspense record systems dealing with status of material, equipment, or data, some or all of which may be classified in nature. Prepares listings for area of specialty; may conduct internal audits or periodic inventories, balance budgetary data, or verify data as required. Prepares administrative reports utilizing accessible and available material from a variety of reference sources; researches material as needed. Composes and prepares correspondence, reports, etc., in rough and finished forms using own initiative and in accordance with policies and procedures; prepares a variety of reports, summaries, etc. based upon files, records, logs, etc.; selects relevant information from a variety of sources and incorporates into responses to inquiries of appropriate magnitude. Reports and summaries prepared are non-routine and frequently one-time requests. Responds daily to verbal inquiries regarding status of material or information; provides advisory services for area of specialty; may interface with other contractor or agencies for normal performance of job. Reviews regulations, publications, and directives, initiating appropriate action or referring to appropriate staff member.
Coordinates operation, employment, maneuver and maintenance functions for tactical and Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) wheeled vehicles supporting garrison and training operations, to include using AIS such as: MIMMS; SASSY; and TCPT.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: One (1) year of college and three (3) years of relevant, progressive experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required skills include:
Shall be able to obtain an operators' license for non-tactical/tactical Government-owned equipment.
Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
Work will be performed in a cubical environment inside a large facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position could require some night and weekend work. Some travel may be required based on client requirements.
Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Equipment and Machines
General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).

Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client's standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
