The Hospital Work Leader will be the primary Point of Contact and Liaison for a military hospital as part of an overall base operations support services contract. The primary duty and responsibility is to be the hospital customer service champion and support O&M workload associated with facility and infrastructure ongoing maintenance and sustainment programs for the hospital facilities. Anticipated responsibilities include, but not limited to: ensure trouble calls and service orders are properly scheduled and executed per contract limits and customer expectations; ensure that hospital facilities are available for maintenance as scheduled and minimizes impact on hospital operations; hosts walk throughs with customer to identify problem areas and completion of remedial work; and works with customer, work control center, quality and safety, engineering, or other personnel as required, to review processes and procedures for customer satisfaction and continuous improvement; and work with individuals at all levels of the company and client.
BS degree from an accredited college or university, and fourteen (14) years of related experience, or a MS degree and twelve (12) years related experience or a Ph.D. degree and eight (8) years related experience.
Two (2) years of college must include courses in computer science, mathematics or other related engineering or facilties maintenance courses, and two (2) years relevant experience must be in facilites and infrastructure maintenance and sustainment support service of medical facilities, military facilities preferred. Must have polished telephone etiquette and the ability to handle disgruntled customers diplomatically. Fluency with MS Office computer tools and Maximo CMMS is highly desired. US Citizenship required. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. CMRP registration preferred.
Most work will be done at the hospital facilities and will require field support at main work control center location. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist and sit for extended periods as well as climb, crawl, and lift up to 35 lbs. Must understand hospital operations and be familiar with medical equipment and systems.
Restricted access complex, mostly office facilities and industrial plants. Duties will require access and entry within warehouse, physical plants, and construction/work areas where PPE is applicable (e.g., safety shoes, hearing/vision protection, safety hats).

With the exception of approved leave and holidays, attendance is mandatory. This position is expected to be on-site during all regular business hours as aligned with customer requirements. Overtime may be required. Position or alternate shall be available on-site within one hour of customer's request.

Must take and pass a drug test and background check. Must have/maintain appropriate security clearance and be a US Citizen. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be willing to travel as-needed.
