Oversees the Network Operations Center (NOC) Tier 1 through Tier 2 operations in the UK. Team will staff an evening/mid-shift (6pm-6am, 365 day/ year. Monitors, operates and manages the NOC team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents in multiple and complex local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), customer networks, Intranet and Internet and other data communication systems. Ensures network availability and reliability to all system users and while performing necessary maintenance and incident resolution.
Supervises and trains approximately 1-5 personnel at UK location while managing workload and schedules. Responsible to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA's) are met within Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets. Interfaces daily with the customer and program management to inform and present information on projects or maintenance activities while providing situational awareness of critical services and outages.
Active TS/SCI w/ Poly is Required
BS degree in a computer or system science discipline from an accredited college or university and ten (10) to fourteen (14) years of progressive, relevant experience, or an MS degree in a computer or system science discipline and eight (8) to twelve (12) years of progressive experience, or a Ph.D. degree in a computer or system science discipline and four (4) to seven (7) years of progressive experience. Similar working level obtained through relevant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree level education.
Minimum of 5 year's experience in IP Networking operations, maintenance, or engineering. Leadership Training Certificates and/or demonstrable supervisory skills with 2 years of prior supervisory experience.
