About the Role:

Assume responsibility for the supply chain of our department. Together with your team of qualified strategists, you will pursue the internationally orientated supply market, identify new opportunities, deduct new specific strategies and optimize our purchase processes. Sustainability, risk management, challenging projects and supply chain management are the keywords that push you forward and motivate you.

- Responsible for the development and integration of sourcing and procurement visions, strategies for new products, and product development projects as you actively procure material
- Support project management, research & development, and production, by selecting materials and suppliers as well as supporting projects for product improvements, leading price negotiations, and designing and negotiating contracts
- Assume responsibility for the required systematic cost decrease of materials, through annual price negotiations, assume responsibility for complying process and delivery dates and supervise the claim management process
- Technically lead the operative buyers and the definition of methods to create forecasts, optimizing networking capital, and securing availability of material
- Coordinate information towards suppliers, disposition at the Global Business Service center, research & development, and product engineering regarding commercial aspects of your area of responsibility

- University degree in Engineering and Law, or equivalent university degrees
- Project management and leadership experience in interdisciplinary projects from strategic and international sourcing and product development
- Practical know how in emerging markets sourcing, quality control and supplier evaluation
- Well-founded knowledge and expertise in international law, contract management, commercial risk management as well as in claim management,
- Able to convince and lead negotiations, profound know-how in the field of Compliance and Integrity
- Knowledge in SAP and MRP/ ERP systems is advantageous
- Fluent in English and German, both verbal and written, additional languages are an asset
