The Gas Distribution Engineering & Design (GDE&D) organization is comprised of a geographically diverse engineering and design staff responsible for the engineering and design of gas distribution facilities throughout the service territory.
This position is responsible for leading a high performance team assigned to produce gas reconstruction design drawings and cost estimates at the San Francisco RMC.
You should have a strong background in gas distribution estimating and be a goal oriented individual who would like to be part of an innovative team. The work will require good analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to motivate and lead employees.
You must be able to travel at least 10% of the time.
• 5 years of relevant experience to include experience in Gas or Electric utility industry
• BS Engineering degree or other technical discipline
• PE (Professional Engineer) License
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192, CPUC GO 112-E
• Expertise in SAP technology
• Experience in a leadership role
• Knowledge of job estimate - preparation and approval process
• Project Management skills
• Gas technical skills
• Knowledge of gas system operations

View all processes and identify potential improvements through the customer's eyes (both internal and external customers) in order to meet our goal of improving customer satisfaction.
