About the Role:

The ABB Information Systems Delivery Center (ISDC) is a unique unit working on software development which supports business processes of the entire ABB organization. Everyday a team of over 450 developers, project managers and other specialists works on advanced IT solutions which improve efficiency of our company. Currently we are looking for candidates for a position of Senior Functional Analyst - SAP- Customer Service to join our brand new Team. The Senior Functional Analyst at ABB Group level provides the integration expertise in order to write functional specifications, configure the global systems and actively support the local system integration and ensure requirements are complete for level 4 specialists (developer). Maintaining continuous integrity of functional configuration and system documentation in line with the process design whilst proactively suggesting application usability improvements are critical success factors to ensuring highest possible business operational excellence.

• Act as the main speaking partner for Business Analyst/s and business organisation stakeholders in enhancing platform functional capabilities in order to support business process development;
• Build experience and competence of the usage of IS platform/application capabilities and features;
• Write functional specification in close collaboration with business analyst and/or business organization stakeholders and as required support in gathering and documenting requirements;
• Perform system configurations to deliver the solution against functional specification, in cases where level 4 resources are not required to perform the tasks;
• Maintain system configuration documentation such as user guidelines following change releases;
• Develop concepts and material for training purposes for platform usage together with business analyst;
• Prepare training materials and train on-boarding team as required;
• Build knowledge base and/or coach support team in populating and keeping knowledge base up-to-date;
• Build and maintain integration approaches between functional modules of the platform in close collaboration with other Functional Analysts (integration design, documentation, information/data flow);
• Work closely with Functional Analysts/Application Architects or Service Managers of other applications to ensure integrations can be developed and maintained with highest stability;
• Ensure complete and full functional requirements documentation to Level 4 resources (developer) and review/approve the technical design and solution via integration testing;
• Communicate system functional capability best practices;
• Actively participate in collaboration & knowledge sharing across the network of Business and Functional Analysts, maintain expert network;
• Proactively monitor function & feature usage effectiveness and work with continuous improvement of application usability.

• Configuration expert in SAP CS application module; approx. 7 years' experience in specialist function: Configuring CS objects; Demand Service and Resource related billing; In-house Repair using repair process; Installed-base management; Serial number, Equipment master, Warranty processing; Service Contracts;
• Solid working knowledge of CS Master Data such as Functional Location, Master Warranties, Maintenance Plan and Triggering events, as well as the CS module's integration with the SD, FI, and CO modules;
• Ability to debug, knowledge in Revenue Recognition, CS/PM related workflows or IDOC processing is a plus;
• Sales Order & Quotation Management, Pricing incl. tax, sales credits & commissions, Logistics Execution, Variant Configuration, Billing, ALE/EDI;
• Configuration experience in business scenarios covered in Dimensions;
• Integration experience to other SAP modules (SD, FI, CO, MM, PS);
• Proven process understanding within functional area;
• Fluent spoken and written English, other languages will be a plus;
• Bachelor's Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience;
• Qualified project management experience within IT;
• Thorough knowledge of IT service management concepts (ITIL) is an asset;
• Ability to promote a team environment.
