Financial Controller - Support Services
The candidate will provide accounting expertise, financial support, and analysis for the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture with a focus on revenue management.
The candidate is expected to monitor revenue streams, key finance/business indicators, and flag anomalies while considering risk and sensitivities. He/she will ensure the supply of quality data and information to all internal and external stakeholders of the Center. The candidate is expected to continually review business status and produce score cards and analysis to assist decision making process and improve understanding of business cases.
The candidate is expected to drive the fiscal year revenue planning process (process, analysis, target setting, modeling, and planning execution). Also, the candidate is expected to drive analysis of long range planning of the revenue process/framework.
The candidate will work in close cooperation with the strategic planning and budgeting team as well as various groups in Saudi Aramco Finance organizations and other support organizations.
The Support Services Division handles all strategic planning and budgeting matters, capital investment, materials procurement, logistics, accounting, invoice processing, internal control, and HR services. Also it covers areas such as performance management and regular business reporting.
Support Services is part of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, which is a 21st century iconic cultural facility that is multidisciplinary, combining art and science with a mission focusing on advancing knowledge, creativity, and cross-cultural engagement.
A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (a minor in revenue management is a plus).
Financial administration experience, preferably including the areas of financial analysis and reporting, accounting, and planning.
A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a complex organization with many stakeholders.
An ability to work with multiple projects and work effectively in a rapidly changing environment with overlapping deadlines.
Mastery of Microsoft Excel and financial systems, e.g., SAP Microsoft dynamics
Strong written and verbal communication skills with high proficiency in Arabic/English.
Superior communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and across all levels in an organization and with external agencies.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
High energy, outgoing, a "can do" personality, and an ability to thrive in a changing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary duties and responsibilities:
The candidate will be reporting to the head of the Support Services Division, and will be accountable for the following:
Responsible for revenue management and analysis, including monthly forecasting and monthly reviews.
Responsible for driving a robust forecasting process, with risks and sensitivities, and identifying underlying assumptions - coordinating input, flagging anomalies, and ensuring data is consistent.
Responsible for driving the fiscal year revenue planning process (process, analysis, target setting, modeling, and planning execution).
Responsible for revenue financial planning (growth modeling, mid-year review, budgeting).
Responsible for reviewing the business and produce score cards and analysis to assist management decision making and improve the understanding of issues.
Responsible for coordinating and communicating end-to-end target setting; the forecasting and reporting revenue processes; assessing overall risks and opportunities, and recommending process improvements.
Responsible for initiating and closing all collaboration with corporate finance groups on mutual business transactions.
Secondary duties and responsibilities:
Undertake other duties as determined by the nominated Supervisor, especially in developing and executing financial activities related to the King Abdulaziz Center and Saudi Aramco.
