Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Senior Engineer - Slop Treatment Oilfield Services, based in Aberdeen
Responsibilities will include:
Manage the development of Company's global Slop treatment services in line with market opportunity both on and offshore.
Manage and co-ordinate the equipment and service offering across all company operations in respect of Slop treatment.
Further develop and implement techniques and methodologies to enhance company Slop treatment.
Work with and alongside Business Development, Sales, Engineering and Operations departments on current and future company opportunities and operations to ensure any and all opportunities are maximized
Further develop and build company Slop treatment business.
Fully assess and report on current practice and operations relating to company Slop treatment.
Understand and add to a knowledge base within the company relating to discharge regulations and permitting.
Develop and record working knowledge of Slop treatment process to build repeatability.
Develop, implement and monitor methodology to improve the systems currently in use through both internal and external service providers and suppliers.
Develop Slop treatment capability for all company operating sites globally, including the installation, commissioning and successful operation of equipment.
Develop associated protocols and operating manuals, sharing knowledge and experience with all relevant personnel.
Assist in development of personnel including training and competency development.
Liaise with client personnel and company team members as appropriate.
Assess and report on current and ongoing operations.
Assist in developing IP relating to Slop Treatment process.
Actively participate in Client presentations, meeting and workshops
Participate in Trade Shows and conferences showcasing Slop Treatment Process
Traveling Overseas and also occasional offshore trips will be required to; liaise with potential and existing clients and to ensure Company Slop treatment facilities, people and equipment are managed and operating efficiently.
Be prepared to undertake medicals, vaccinations and training as required for offshore/overseas travel
Liaise with HSE to ensure HSE targets and objectives are met.
Ensure compliance with all company, client, job specific and regulatory procedures / legislation.
Proactively promote HSEQ
Attend safety meetings with QHSE personnel as required.
Follow all company, work site and Regulator procedures at all times.
Address any HSEQ concerns and take appropriate actions in conjunction with company and/or client procedures.
Ensure safe working practices at all times
Ensure all operations comply with the Company and Client operating policies and procedures.
Ensure all operations comply with the Company Health and Safety policy as defined in the Company handbook.
Be aware of company conditions of employment as detailed in the Employee Handbook.
Liaise with HR Department to assure compliance with current employee law legislation.
Keep up to date with other current legislation, legal requirements and regulations that apply to the company.
Have a good working knowledge of Company policies, procedures, and work instructions that apply to operations function.
