Our client is a Dutch based Owner operator of FPSO's and they currently have a permanent requirement for a Senior Integrity Engineer to be based in Holland and fulfil the following requirements:
The Department of Operational Technical Management is responsible for the definition, development and implementation of the relevant corporate technical operational strategies, standards, routines, programs and procedures in support of the company's overall FPSO fleet performance management. The Department is further responsible for the strategy and control of the overall corporate maintenance management system.
Actively contribute continuous improvement of the Integrity management system and acting as the technical focal point.
Act as the focal point for technical integrity and provide specialist knowledge and experience to the discipline, projects and asset teams.
Develop improvements in co-operation with other disciplines that will assist both integrity and maintenance with a sound understanding of the safety and commercial impact on an operated asset.
An important facet of this role is keeping abreast of regulatory/ industrial standards and codes and applying them accordingly within the parameters of the department.
You will be required to identify and highlight technical risks and anomalies in projects and operations, taking into account risk based inspection principles and strategies, working in accordance with Corporate and Asset-specific agreed standards.
Ensure Fitness for Service Assessments are undertaken and be able to recommend and advise on repair techniques.
Organize and facilitate risk based assessments of installations and review inspection reports to highlight anomalies.
Monitoring and advising on yearly inspection plans for installations.
Facilitation of internal and external integrity support for operating assets and projects.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Corrosion Engineering or equivalent.
Extensive experience (7+ years) in Technical Integrity within operating assets and Project Execution.
Knowledge of NDT techniques, their application and limitations, possessing a proven knowledge of both internal and external deterioration mechanisms associated with oil and gas operations
Proven track record with evidence that demonstrates an ability to make balanced and informed technical decisions under pressure.
Proven knowledge of (UK) offshore legislation specifically the pressure systems regulations and pressure equipment directive, including API codes.
A working knowledge on the principles of verification and assurance activities in conjunction with flag and class rules relating to integrity management.
