About the Role:

JOB TITLE: Quality Director
LOCATION: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
SALARY & BENEFITS: £70,000+ P/A neg. (equiv. of 360,000 Saudi Riyals) plus Overseas & Transportation Allowance. END CLIENT: A company based in Saudi Arabia engaged in the support of advanced defence, security and aerospace systems
DURATION: Permanent
SECURITY CLEARANCE: UK Baseline Security clearance (BPSS). Also, Successful candidate will be knowledgeable on Export Control Requirements and may be required to handle Export Controlled/ITAR Data. The Job Holder is required to be trained to the Enhanced Level.


-9 years+ in Quality/Assurance function
-Degree in Engineering or 15 years appropriate QA experience
-Quality Qualifications e.g. Certificates or Diplomas
-Qualified as a Lead Auditor
-Exp. of managing a Quality function
-Knowledge of Aircraft systems & Audit processes
-Membership of a Certified Quality Body
-5 years+ in a managerial role
-10 years+ in Customer facing activities and responsibilities
-Knowledge of Quality Management Systems across the business
-Knowledge of KSA maintenance activities including future strategy
-Excellent interpersonal & communication skills


-Directing the Quality Assurance team in the delivery of the clients Quality Management System in KSA & UK to ensure a common strategy in the delivery of a QMS to meet both customer & business requirements
-A key aspect of this role will be strategic focus on the continuing development &improvement of the QMS, provision of expert Quality Assurance leadership to other business delivery areas to ensure that the total capability delivered is fit for purpose
-Development of new business solutions to meet future business and legal requirements are a key deliverable
-Management of the Quality Assurance team including the recruitment, budgeting and staffing of the Assurance team and the training and development of Assurance staff and the implementation of the Assurance team Saudisation Plan
-Development, operation, maintenance, planning and implementation of Quality Assurance activities
-Lead & conduct audits, assessment, investigations into product and/or process failures in line with business needs
-Provide an interface with the internal customer & supplier/subcontractors on all Quality Assurance matters.
