â€¢ Responsible for achieving company product sales within assigned territory to drive significant revenue growth.
â€¢ Coordinate all customer inquiries and leads that come into the office with appropriate resource necessary to meet customerâ€™s need and provide appropriate timely response to customer.
â€¢ Develops and maintains positive customer relations; coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
â€¢ Works with internal teams to resolve production issues (forecasting, engineering, purchasing, scheduling and shipping/invoicing, etc).
â€¢ Assists sales management and sales team in all aspects of supporting the customer.
â€¢ Assisting with sample requests, follow up on programs and tracking customer opportunities status.
â€¢ Ability to recognize sales opportunities beyond the customerâ€™s perceived needs or requirements.
â€¢ Supporting the sales team by developing initial engineering designs of products required according to the clients/market requirements.
â€¢ Reviewing technical documentation.
â€¢ Production of technical quotations.
â€¢ Undertake client meetings.
â€¢ Develop technical concepts.
â€¢ Assist in the production and management of Sales reporting.
â€¢ Identify potential leads for future sales.
â€¢ Attending conferences and exhibitions.
â€¢ Must have 3-5 years minimum relevant sales experience working as a sales engineer in the Houston region within oil, gas, refining or gas processing market or within gas analytics.
â€¢ Engineering-related qualification (or working towards this qualification) preferred.
â€¢ Appropriate level of industry technical knowledge.
â€¢ First class communication and presentation skills and ability to work within a team.
â€¢ Attention to detail.
â€¢ Commercial awareness.
â€¢ Willingness to take ownership / responsibility of a particular business area and develop it.
â€¢ IT literate, including Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP a plus.
â€¢ Experience of working in the wider US and/or global Gas / Petrochemical industry.
â€¢ Process / Instrumentation, analysis, analyzers, gas chromatography exposure.
â€¢ Clean driving license record
