About the Role:

Our client is a leading energy and services group and they are looking for a Technical Scheduler to work on a site in Reading.

Main Responsibilities / Duties Include

* To be part of the Contracts Support Team dedicated to the Mobile South operation
* To work closely with Contract Managers & Supervisors to ensure all works (PPM & reactive) are scheduled for the appropriate resource to attend
* Update & provide analysis of live / historic data to generate accurate planning forecasts
* The successful candidate must provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness, contract profitability & must therefore play their part in the overall delivery of service
* Schedule PPM & Reactive works in a timely manner ensuring contractual KPI's are achieved
* Liaise with Contract Managers & Supervisors to schedule all 'out of hours' & 'projects' works
* Logging & assigning jobs on CAFM system ensuring system is continuously updated
* Liaising with appropriate parties (both internal & external) to provide necessary updates & supporting documentation when requested. Issue purchase orders when required
* Carry out regular analysis of current PPM regime across the portfolio to identify current trends & patterns to achieve effective & efficient delivery of engineering resource. Work with the Management team to discuss / implement appropriate courses of action
* Ensure engineer's resource planner is up-to-date at all times ensuring accurate & correct information is detailed
* First point of contact for engineers, customers & suppliers regarding scheduling queries
* Carry out general administrative duties in line with the departmental policies & procedures
* Undertake any 'ad hoc' duties as requested by Mobile South Management team

* Prior experience working within a scheduling / planning role
* Good team member with excellent communications skills with all levels of the workforce
* Ability to work in a focused manner with the ability to prioritise workload & requests
* The ability to work within a customer focused environment where brand image is very important
* Computer literate with the ability to use all Microsoft applications to a high standard
* Full driving licence - preferable
* Technical knowledge within the M&E industry (advantageous)
* Prior experience of CAFM systems (Concept Evolution & Planon advantageous)
* Technical knowledge within the M&E industry (advantageous)
* Health & safety awareness
* First Aid
