Wilson James has been appointed by BP to deliver manned guarding and reception services across all its sites in Scotland until 2017.
The contract covers BP’s main sites in Aberdeen, Sullom Voe and Grangemouth, along with a number of smaller facilities extending Wilson James’s provision of security services from Aberdeen, where it has been operating since 2007.
Keith Fleming, Scotland director at Wilson James, said: “The contract expansion enables Wilson James to take an integrated approach to the provision of manned guarding and reception services for BP in Scotland. We can utilise our experience and understanding of their business from working with them in Aberdeen to ensure that service levels are consistent across all facilities and utilise the connectivity to contribute to BP’s business resilience across Scotland.”
Wilson James’s managing director for security services, Gemma Quirke, added: “Maintaining brand integrity for our clients through excellent customer service across our security and reception services is a key priority for Wilson James. With the appointment in Scotland we are now working with BP across a large part of their estate, which enables us to ensure consistency across their business with regards to making their assets secure whilst ensuring their employees and visitors are looked after.”
