Kuwait crude oil price down to $75.79pb
KUWAIT: Price of Kuwait crude oil per barrel slightly fell by $0.97, to $75.79pb on Wednesday, compared to $76.76 on Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) yesterday.
Meanwhile, at London Stock Exchange, the price of Brent crude closed at a rise of $0.13, standing at $82.95pb. In New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), American crude was also up by $1.49, to $78.68pb. A report by the Energy Information Administration has shown that US crude inventories had risen by 460,000 barrels last week, significantly less than the 2.2 million predicted barrels.
Dollar stable The exchange rate of the US dollar was stable against the Kuwaiti dinar at KD 0.290, yesterday, while the euro dropped to KD 0.363 on Thursday, compared to Wednesday’s rate. The Central Bank of Kuwait said in its daily bulletin that the sterling dropped to KD 0.463, the Swiss franc fell to KD 0.301 and the Japanese yen was unchanged at KD 0.003. —KUNA
