Over two days you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the resource base, recovery techniques, upgrading, refining, and transportation. You will also learn about industry economics and the technological and geopolitical forces that determine oil sands development. All of this information is included in the detailed and full-colour course binder you will take home at the end of the course. This Oak Leaf course provides participants with context and tools to understand the industry.
Our goal at Oak Leaf Training is to make complex issues and concepts understandable. Our oil sands instructors have all worked over 30 years in the energy industry and hold specific experience in oil sands. They are all effective communicators. At the end of the two days with your instructor, you will return to your organization with broad knowledge of the oil sands industry and greater insight into the possible directions the industry could take.
